TRAVEL
The Filmhouse Cinema is located at 88 Lothian Road, close to the West End of Princes Street in Edinburgh City Centre.
If coming from the airport, the Lothian Buses Airlink service (100) departs from the airport every 10-15 minutes to the West End. Travel time is approximately 25 minutes, and costs £4.50 (single) / £7.50 (return). Get off at the Shandwick Place, walk straight ahead towards the Caledonian Hotel, and turn right onto Lothian Road. The Filmhouse is about 5 minutes away on the right hand side of the road.
If coming by train, the Filmhouse Cinema is close to both the main Edinburgh Waverley Station and Haymarket station. From Waverley, walk west along to the end of Princes Street, turn left onto Lothian Road and the Filmhouse is on the right – about 20 minutes. Alternatively, take Lothian Buses service 1 or 30 from the stop at the top of the Waverley Steps which will take you to Lothian Road (get off at the Usher Hall for the 1, and the Exchange for the 30). From Haymarket it is a 15 minute walk via Morrison Street, passing the EICC.
